Apple waived the suspension of the Fortnite creator's account

In its latest statement, Apple announced that the process of suspending Epic Games' account has been halted and will soon return to its original state.
In the latest gaming news, it has been revealed that Apple has decided to forego the process of deleting the Epic Games developer account and its services. Apple, in line with its previous statement, has announced that the account of this company will return to its original state.
Earlier this week, Apple simultaneously closed the developer account of this company, following statements made by Tim Sweeney, the head of Epic Games (who had criticized Apple's business practices). The European Union had previously persuaded Apple to accept other variables alongside the App Store sales on its devices. According to reports by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple had to comply with the European Union's digital market laws, and in this regard, it allowed Epic Games' Swedish branch to sign agreements and join Apple's developer program.
Epic Games stated in a statement: "Apple has informed us that, in compliance with the European Union's directives, it will return our developer account to its previous state. This indicates to developers that the European Union compels intermediary companies to comply with digital market laws so that they remain accountable for their responsibilities. We intend to re-release the Epic Games store and Fortnite game on iOS-based devices in Europe according to the previous plan. Moving forward!"
Apple's digital market laws compel it, as an intermediary company, to allow various programs and stores to operate on its platforms. This law, considering Apple's total ownership of its store, aims to prevent the creation of monopoly and the formation of a single distributor of apps, content, etc., on one platform. If Apple does not alter its plans in Europe, it would be subject to digital market laws and, as a result, would have to pay hefty fines.
