No Rest for the Wicked doesn't require a constant internet connection to play
According to one of the founders of Studio Moon, No Rest for the Wicked doesn't require an internet connection to play in single-player mode.
Recently, prominent titles like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Nightingale received negative feedback due to the impossibility of experiencing them without an internet connection. However, Studio Moon has good news for those who want to experience No Rest for the Wicked in offline mode. Gennady Korol, one of Studio Moon's founders, recently announced on the social network X that there's no need for an internet connection to experience this role-playing game in single-player mode.
"Although Wicked was designed from the start to be multiplayer, we didn't want the offline portion to seem like our secondary priority, and we want players to remain able to play if their internet connection quality isn't ideal," Korol said. "For the experience."
The final release of No Rest for the Wicked for Xbox Series X platforms will be released on Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, it's currently not scheduled for early access release on April 18, 2024 via Steam for PC.
The game will include a cooperative mode supporting up to four players simultaneously, and it will also feature a player versus player component. More information about No Rest for the Wicked will be available after the early access release.
